Halfway through the recording of another album (as yet incomplete), Shakin´Stevens saw a
TV special called Don´t knock The Rock featuring the legendary British band, Sounds Incorporated.
From that moment he knew that the combination of his vocals and their solid back-up would
create the powerful driving force he was seeking.
The next day Alan Holmes, lead sax player with Sounds Incorporated was contacted, and the
ball started rolling. Within three days the studio was booked, the producers and their engineer were playing
cards, the party was on, and Shakin´Stevens with the nucleus of Sounds Incorporated
we're ready to rock! Just one more phone call to Ace Scudder, the piano player from his former
band, and the stage was set. Against this onslaught, the wall of Sound would crumble like the walls of Jericho.
This is an avalanche of Sound. This is blitzkrieg. This is Shakin´Stevens
